Search Engine Submission
Once a website is fully optimized with keyword rich content and all webpages are linked properly, inSight Style will submit your URL to the search engines. Before your website is submitted to the search engines, all webpages should be checked for content uniqueness. A website will penalized by the search engines for having duplicate content throughout the site. This means that every page must have a unique title tag and META tags. Google for instance, will place any webpages with a duplicate title tag into its supplemental results which makes it impossible to achieve successful search engine rankings. Our SEO Specialists will ensure the uniqueness of your website content before submitting to the search engines.
The Four Major Players
There are four major search engines: Google, Yahoo, Live Search (MSN), and ASK. All of these search engines provide their data to the minor search engines. For example, Google shares their organic results with AOL and Netscape, Yahoo shares their organic results with Alltheweb and AltaVista. Once we have optimized your website, inSight Style will submit your URL to Google, Yahoo and MSN. ASK doesn't allow URL submissions, they index your site through spidering other websites and incoming links.
Directory Submission
inSight Style Solutions will submit your website to a number of "search engine friendly directories," depending on your program level. Some of the directories that we submit to are DMOZ (Open Directory Project), Yahoo Directory, Business.com, Skaffe, and Best of the Web. Even though directory submissions are good for search engine rankings, they should be done in moderation. Directories should make up about 20% of a websites inbound link structure.
